Billing and payouts
Connecting payments, the platform fee, and where payouts land.
Online payments run through a marketplace payment provider (Stripe Connect). VitaBoard doesn't hold or settle funds itself.
Connecting payments
An Owner or Administrator connects the organization's payout account through the payment provider, from the Billing area. Until that's done and the organization is verified, you can still take bookings for services that are paid at the clinic or don't require payment — online payouts just won't flow.
How a payment splits
Patient pays the service price
→ platform fee (a configured percentage or fixed amount)
→ remainder paid out to the organization
The fee depends on the plan. A Clinic / Organization plan also unlocks multiple doctors and locations, secretaries and nurses, departments, shared scheduling, and reporting.
Refunds
Full and partial refunds are supported and flow back through the provider. An abandoned or failed checkout never holds a slot — the reservation expires and the slot is released.
Visibility
The Owner and Administrator see billing and Stripe Connect status at the organization level. Individual doctors see their own earnings.
