Getting started
Create your free account, verify your email, and open the app.
VitaBoard gives every patient a free, lifelong health record that you own and control. This page covers signing up and finding your way around.
Create your account
- Go to Create an account and choose Patient.
- Enter your name, email, and a password.
- We email you a verification link — open it to activate your account.
If the verification email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder. You can request a new link from the sign-in screen.
If someone set up an account for you
A family member can create a record for you — for example a parent for a child, or an adult child for a dependent parent. When you're ready to manage it yourself, they can invite you to take over: you'll get an email, set a password, and the record becomes yours to run. Nothing in it is lost in the handover.
What's free
The core patient experience is free and stays free:
- Your profile, medical timeline, conditions, medications, allergies, and vaccinations
- Up to 1 GB of document storage
- Family management
- Sharing your record with doctors, and revoking that access
- Exporting your data
Opening the app
The web sign-up hands you off to the VitaBoard app, which is where you keep your record and book appointments. It runs on your phone and in the browser. Public pages — searching for a doctor, reading a doctor's profile, and these docs — stay on the website and don't need an account.
Your language and country
Your country sets sensible defaults (language, currency, timezone), but you can pick your own preferred language for the app and for every email, SMS, and appointment reminder we send you. Your doctor's language and yours don't have to match.
