Appointments and payments
Find a doctor, book, reschedule or cancel, and how payment works.
Finding a doctor
Search the doctor directory by specialty and location. You can narrow by distance ("near me", within 5 km, within 20 km), availability, in-person vs. video, price, and language. Results are ranked by relevance, distance, availability, and profile quality — not by who paid the most.
Every doctor and clinic is verified before they appear in search.
Booking
Pick a slot and confirm. Booking:
- Creates the appointment
- Grants the doctor access to your record (see Sharing and access)
- Starts the payment step if the service needs pre-payment
Appointment types include in-person, video, and voice-only consultations, follow-ups, and free consultations — whatever the doctor or clinic offers.
Payment
Payment is configured per service. A service can be:
- Required online — you pay before the appointment is confirmed
- Optional
- Paid at the clinic
- Not applicable (for example a free consultation)
At checkout you always see the exact amount and currency you'll be charged. If your preferred display currency differs, an approximate converted amount is shown alongside — but you're charged in the doctor's currency.
An abandoned or failed payment does not hold the slot: reservations for checkout expire, and the slot is released.
Refunds, partial refunds, and expired payment sessions are all supported.
Rescheduling and cancelling
You can reschedule or cancel from the appointment. Cancellation terms depend on the doctor's or clinic's policy for that service.
Video and voice consultations
For a video or voice appointment, join from the appointment at the scheduled time. There's a waiting room before the doctor joins. The same consultation screen is used for both — video is simply turned off for a voice-only call. Consultations are not recorded.
